Happy Birthday Sam!

My little (or shall we say much taller) brother turned 18 he's getting to be such a big guy. He has applied to the school of music at the University of Louisville so everyone keep your fingers crossed and say a little prayer. His audition is set for January 30th!

11 weeks old and we can do TRICKS!

As I posted before, I have been working with Bodhi getting him to sit and lay down, he starts his puppy classes on Tuesday so I want to have a head start! See for yourself...

Spoiled Rotten!

My puppy dog is so lazy! His favorite spot to be is sleeping in the bed cuddled next to his mommy. Bodhi generally burrows himself down in the covers, so spoiled!

Christmas pictures as promised...

Bodhi thinking he is part of the reindeer decor... sweet little guy!

Settling In

I have neglected my blog duties for some time now, getting Bodhi settled has been a bit demanding at times but very rewarding. Even though Bodhi has been challenging (having to get up every couple of hours to potty) he is such a joy. We had a great time at grandma's for Christmas and uncle Sam's 18th birthday. Between all the Christmas and birthday festivities he has met so many new faces! (pictures to come)
On another note he is now 11 weeks old. I have taught Bodhi not only to "sit" but also "down"! "Down" was a little tough but we managed to comprehend with a little patience and persistence! He will be starting his puppy class in a couple of weeks and I want him to be in the top of his class!

Aaron and I have exciting news!!! In exactly one week we get to bring home Bodhi, our new boxer puppy! Today we shopped for all the necessities to make Bodhi feel at home! Hopefully Bella will be accepting of our new addition.

It's just the beginning!!

Wow! I can't believe it, I'm actually blogging. This is the beginning of a whole new ride for me. A very slow ride, but exciting one! I have followed many friend's blogs and appreciated their technical abilities in hopes that one day I could blog too. Now I just need to get Aaron on the same boat.
